During the ŌĆ£Online Global Media DayŌĆØ held on the morning of September 2 KST, BTS shared their hope to enter the Grammy Awards. Yesterday, BTS became the first Korean artist to top Billboard HOT 100 with ŌĆ£Dynamite,ŌĆØ released on August 21. Having previously topped Billboard 200 four times, BTS became the only K-pop artist to top two main charts from Billboard. When asked about their next goal, RM mentioned ŌĆ£Grammy AwardsŌĆØ and hosting concerts. RM said, ŌĆ£Grammy Awards is a stage that any musician dreams of. I hope we can perform our own stage, be nominated, and take home the awards. I believe that BTS has to keep moving forward.ŌĆØ He then went on to say, ŌĆ£Now, ironically, the concerts, which we always did, became a new goal. I have complicated thoughts, but I want to perform outdoor. I think it became a dream because I have no idea when that will come true.ŌĆØ RM also asked for more expectations for their new album and expressed his determination to perform like ŌĆ£BTS.ŌĆØ He added, ŌĆ£This year, a new album that weŌĆÖre working hard on will be released. It probably will be untact, but we are also planning on hosting a concert. BTS will always do the best that we can in our places.
