Heaven: To the Land of Happiness is a delightful and lyrical road movie of an escaped prisoner ŌĆ£203ŌĆØ (Choi Min Sik) and Nam Sik (Park Hae Il). ŌĆ£203ŌĆØ has not much time left in his life, and Nam Sik has no money. When they get their hands on a large sum of money, they go on a trip together as they dream about the ŌĆ£grand finaleŌĆØ of their lives. ItŌĆÖs the first movie director Im Sang Soo released in six years since his 2015 movie Intimate Enemies. Last year, Heaven: To the Land of Happiness was invited to the Cannes as the ŌĆ£Cannes Official Selection 2020,ŌĆØ making it ImŌĆÖs 4th movie to be invited to the festival. Choi Min Sik took on the role of prisoner ŌĆ£203,ŌĆØ who broke out of the prison to find the final happiness of his life. Park Hae Il played Nam Sik, who somehow joins the special trip of ŌĆ£203.ŌĆØ Ā ĀThe synergy between these two veteran actors is one of the most charming points of the work.
