On the 26th, the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal made by the star and his legal representative and confirmed SeungriŌĆÖs sentence of one year and and six months. The celebrity, who is currently serving his time in military prison, will be transferred to a civilian prison. He will be released in February of 2023. In 2018, the singer was charged with a total of nine criminal counts, including sexual crimes, habitual gambling (solicitation of illegal prostitution, sex-trafficking, and distribution of illegally filmed sexual content), the violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of embezzlement, and more. As a result of being found guilty on all nine charges, he was sentenced to three years in prison last August at his first military trial. His sentence was then lowered to eighteen months at his second military trial after he filed an appeal. He later appealed his conviction and sentence for habitual gambling and the violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act.
